I am a communicator, connector, collaborator, chameleon, strategist, leader and innovator who has a passion to help organizations tell stories, collaborate and engage with one another.
I have been fortunate over the last two decades to have a wide variety of experiences that fed my curiosity while enabling me to tell stories. Early experience with commercial photography and graphic design coincided with the rapid development of the World Wide Web in the mid 1990s. All of a sudden, instead of spending time chasing down the next photo shoot, clients were coming out of the woodwork looking for someone to build them a website.
The path forward from here was never linear but I have carved a successful and rewarding career at this intersection where storytelling, innovation, technology and communication meet.
This experience has helped me grow and expand my leadership capabilities across diverse industries, improve my organizational ability, and cultivate strong, trusted relationships with a wide-range of clients including executive leadership, staff, partner agencies, communities, and governments at all levels.
My interpersonal skills and adaptability enable me to weave easily in-between and across all levels of a large and complex organization. I have spent the majority of my career as a bridge between communications and information technology. A wide range of experience allows me to balance the mechanics and technical underpinnings of how to communicate with the creative and expressive storytelling of what to communicate.
I believe in responsibility, doing the right thing and working hard. My natural curiosity means I am fascinated by how things work and I get tremendous satisfaction from solving problems and a job well done. I am adaptable and learn systems and processes quickly. I want my contributions to matter and I want to use my talent with others who share my values.
